How about a new "mixed" kind of weapon? I spent a lot of time thinking of this weapon class that I created, and tried to make it the most balanced and valid possible. Here's what I was thinking about: A weapon that handles similarly to both SnS and Bow. It would have essentialy the same raw damage of the two, fast combos like the SnS and the ability to guard, but your boomerang can be shot at the monster for different effects: we could have a pierce boomerang, a crag boomerang, a multiple boomerang... I was also thinking: let's make the boomerang more powerful than any ranged weapon. And to balance this out I resorted to the "bar". basically, hitting a monster enough times physically will fill a bar. When the bar is full, you boomerang power activates. If you shoot the boomerang without the bar filled, it won't have any effect, but still do a reasonable amount of damage. Well, then, what do you think?
