Posts like this make you wish for a nuclear winter.
And I prefer the S not being there.
I deleted it that one time because whenever I moved it to the notes, you would just put it right back up. I left my reasoning in the edit summary each time, but you just ignored it, so I didn't see a reason to keep it on the page at all.
Me being a admin or no doesn't matter on this at all. Monsters having their "etmology" as part of the main section has NEVER been part of this wiki, just take a look at the Fatalis page for instance. This stuff being put up there only started with you.
I keep removing them because the monster pages are meant for the way the monsters are portrayed in the games. While their names have a background and as such a reason for the way they are, these reasons are not part of the games themselves. There is no ingame text that mentions why and how the devs and translators came up with the names.
This means that these naming etmologies are pieces of trivia and as such should be put into the notes section. It's nice that you want to provide a background info for those who are interested, but this is hardly is as important as looking up a monsters abilities and weaknesses in the main text of the page.
>Thinking GU will be better than Gen
Lol?
Get 4U instead of Gens, it's a way better game.
Honestly, Gigginox does everything Khezu does, but better. Even more so with Baleful Gigginox filling the thunder mon spot.
Autism is a disease.
You could make a evasion+3 set and simply go with the Seregios LS. Otherwise just use any armor with shaprness+1. LS in 4U is utterly fucked without sharpness+1.
No one.

2:36 and 3:33 ... Rathalos is doing a tigrex. *facepalm*
Yeah, that really bugged me. There's a big difference between True Wyverns and Pseudowyverns, but nobody seems to know that. In fact, a lot of the "Dragons" you see on TV are actually Pseudowyverns. e.g. Smaug in The Hobbit movie.
First off, Pseudowyvern is a MH fan exclusive term, Tigrex, Nargacuga and other monsters of that body type are still officially Flying Wyverns. Unless you are discussing among MH fans, Pseudowyvern has no meaning. Second, Smaug from the Hobbit film trilogy is a Wyvern, which are a type of dragons, so implying that he is no "true dragon" is absolute bullshit.

Pls no, that would be dull and uninteresting.
I'd actually like it to be a completly mechanical beast, instead of something else wearing the parts like armor or a puppet.

I agree with all except Rajang vs Taikun(Both use electricity, Taikun has armor, Rajang doesn't) and Unknown vs Zerueusu(If you push aside the Unknown's rage modes, they're both quite equal).
Why would an UNKNOWN not use its rage mode in the battle against a Zerureusu? Zeru has no way to stop UNKNOWN from entering it and it enters the rage modes once enough damage is dealt automatically. UNKNOWN outscales Zeru hard.
Also, I'm pretty sure some puny rocks won't be much of a challenge to a Rajang, esspecially once it powers up its fists. Both can be really fast as well, meaning that before the entire armor comes off, Rajang is faster than Taikun and once the armor is no more, the (probably) soft tissue of the Taikun won't be a problem for Rajang to tear through. In the final phase, it turns into a a cat and mouse game, with Rajang having way more potential to finish off Taikun than Taikun has to finish off Rajang.
@YukiHerz
They never said they won't make a XG, they simply didn't wanted to talk about it when MHX was still in development. It is still open if they make a G version of X, it is just highly unlikely.
I think they all suck, except for Gammoth.

ehhhh...I guess the speed was my problem.
I know evading was more bad in the old generations, but dodging and evading UW was bad in general. The invinsibilty of the superman dive was gone so you were always screwed without evade +1 or +2 (unless your really mlg). No matter how big the warning, you would always be in risk of the attack. You would know the attack would come, but you wouldn't be able to evade it.
If you can't evade it, block it. Really, almost any attack a monster can do underwater can be blocked, which makes the fight more or less easy. The whole reason that people apparently hate UW seems to be the fact that they don't understand this.
