Insetto-Tuono Grande

Gli Insetti-tuono grandi (noti come Great Thunderbugs nella versione inglese e Dai Raikō Mushi in quella giapponese) sono Neopteron introdotti in Monster Hunter 2.

Abilità[]

Sono noti per variare costantemente fra due colorazioni: blu e bianco-rossastro. Nel loro stato normale e docile, sono blu, mentre quando cercano di attaccare si circondano di un'aura rosso-biancastra; se riescono a toccare un cacciatore in questo stato, infliggono danni ingenti. Secondo dei testimoni, alcuni draghi anziani li ospitano, fornendo loro un ambiente sicuro nel quale maturare. Un esempio ben noto è lo Yama Tsukami, che li accoglie all'interno del suo corpo in cambio della possibilità di poterli utilizzare come mezzo di difesa.

Habitat[]

Risiedono in una vastissima gamma di ambienti, ma i loro habitat naturali sono la torre e la giungla.

	Un insetto-tuono gigante, cresciuto nel corpo di un drago anziano e noto per abitare nella sua stessa area. Il suo attacco elettrico è mortale. Questo insetto viene usato per produrre armi e oggetti.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
	L'insetto-tuono, spesso usato come materiale per armi e per oggetti di uso quotidiano, prolifera nel corpo dei draghi anziani. Rilascia potenti scariche elettriche ed è molto pericoloso. Si può osservare di notte, nelle caverne e in tutti i luoghi poco illuminati dal sole. Threat Level (危険度): ★
