Velociprey

I Velociprey (noti come Ranposu nella versione giapponese) sono dei Wyvern Rapaci introdotti in Monster Hunter.

Fisiologia[]

Ricordano dei dinosauri dromeosauridi, con scaglie azzurre, striature nere, una cresta rossa sulla testa, degli occhi gialli e il ventre bianco. Viaggiano in branchi e risiedono in numerosi ambienti diversi.

Abilità[]

Spesso non risultano un problema per i cacciatori più esperti, anche se i loro movimenti rapidi possono essere problematici. Possono coprire lunghe distanze balzando e ciò rende difficile sfuggirgli, specie quando si trasportano uova o grandi minerali.

	Carnivori aggressivi che spesso si spostano in branchi. Anche i cacciatori provetti devono stare attenti a non farsi circondare! Vivono in diverse aree, tra cui la giungla, la foresta e le colline.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
	Feroci carnivori che tendono a spostarsi e a cacciare in branco: anche i maestri cacciatori devono prestare attenzione a non farsi circondare da simili predatori. Gli abitanti della regione li hanno spesso avvistati nel bosco eterno. Threat Level (危険度): ★★
Monster Hunter Generations
	Mostri carnivori molto aggressivi che spesso si spostano e cacciano branchi. Anche i cacciatori più esperti fanno attenzione a non lasciarsi circondare da questi predatori. Sono noti per abitare sui colli verdi e nella foresta primordiale. Threat Level (危険度): ★★
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
	Piccoli wyvern rapaci della giungla, i Velociprey sono noti per il loro becco giallo che risalta sul corpo a strisce nere e blu. Si muovono in branchi, assumendo comportamenti comuni. Queste creature slanciate attaccano con movimenti svelti e artigli affilati, quindi meglio stare all'erta.

	Mostri carnivori con scaglie di un blu brillante. Cacciano in branco, combinando forza e astuzia.

Curiosità[]

Sono strettamente imparentati con Giaprey, Genprey e Ioprey.
Sono senza ombra di dubbio i wyvern rapaci più comuni e risiedono in una vastissima gamma di ambienti.
Pur non apparendo in Monster Hunter 3, vengono menzionati nella descrizione della zanna di uccello wyvern.
Attaccano anche i mostri grandi come la Rathian.
Hanno un totale di 14 dita, sette in ogni zampa.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite[]

In Freedom 2 e Freedom Unite è possibile "cancellarli" attaccandoli con un'arma da taglio mentre sono a mezz'aria, tagliandoli quindi metà e facendo sparire nel nulla i loro resti.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate[]

Non è più possibile farli sparire con il trucco di Freedom Unite.

Monster Hunter Frontier[]

In questo capitolo risiedono stranamente anche nelle montagne nevose.
