Like their relatives the Akura Vashimu, Akura Jebia have crystals on their claws and tails. It is currently unknown how the crystal creating substance is made by the Carapaceons. Unlike Akura Vashimu, Akura Jebia have a large crystal horn-like protrusion on their heads that could possibly be used for mating rituals between males and females or for defense against rival predators as even if they lose this horn they will repair it in the same shape as before. Unlike its relative Vashimu, Jebia is still able to grow crystals from its tail stub after its tail is removed though these crystals are loose and covered in red blood they can be used as fast exploding projectiles in emergencies such as tail loss.

Like most Carapaceons, Akura Jebia are mostly shy and reclusive creatures that are mostly nocturnal. Akura Jebia are ambush predators that, like Vashimu, will burrow underground and leave only their blue and white glowing tail crystals visible to attract unwary prey like [[Aptonoth]]. When left alone Jebia are very passive but when attacked or provoked the Akura Jebia are very deadly adversaries. Being solitary creatures, Akura Jebia only seek each other out during the mating season where both males and females initiate in a mating ritual.

Taxonomy

Akura Jebia are large scorpion Carapaceons that are most commonly seen live their lives in the cool and damp Swamp. Jebia are close relatives of the roaming Akura Vashimu and like them Jebia are mostly nocturnal in nature.

Habitat Range

While their close relatives Akura Vashimu are known to roam many environments, Akura Jebia appear make their home almost exclusively in the cool rainy Swamp where they have adapted to the unpredictable weather.

Ecological Niche

Akura Jebia are top predators of their environment armed with powerful claws, crystal mace tails, and the ability to shoot a high-pressure liquid crystal beam. Jebia are deadly predators, they are capable of easily killing and preying on Bulldrome, Iodrome raptors, Yian Kut-Ku, its Subspecies, and Conga. However Akura Jebia also have to compete with dangerous predators that includes AbioruguKamu Orugaron, Nono Orugaron, Khezu, its Subspecies, ChameleosTeostra and their own relatives. Akura Vashimu though they may be able to avoid most of these by staying in the cave systems, Akura Jebia however, are no pushovers and are capable of defending themselves from said predators with sheer ferocity. Khezu and Jebia will compete against each other for the caves in their environment for both food and space, even though electrical abilities of the wyvern are not very useful against the Akura Jebia, while the Jebia can do serious damage with their sharp grasping claws and crystal tails to the unarmored wyvern. Conflicts with the aggressive Shogun Ceanataur and Terra Shogun Ceanataur are also possible.

Biological Adaptations

Like their relatives, Akura Jebia have crystals on their claws and tails. Unlike its relative, Jebia is still able to grow crystals from its tail stub after its tail is removed though these crystals are loose and covered in red blood, they can be used as fast exploding projectiles in emergencies such as tail loss.

Behavior

Like most Carapaceons, Akura Jebia are mostly shy and reclusive creatures that are mostly nocturnal. Akura Jebia are ambush predators that, like Vashimu, will burrow underground and leave only their blue and white glowing tail crystals visible to attract unwary prey like Aptonoth. When left alone, Jebia are very passive but when attacked or provoked, the Akura Jebia are very deadly adversaries.
