Gem in a couple of Antivenin Jewels to half Poison duration. This will grant Poison Duration Halved, Fatigue Cancellation, Flute Expert and Steal No Effect. If you have a Hunting Horn, this can be formidable against the Chameleos, although its wind attack will remain a problem. The same armor can be used to fight Gypceros, and it's better with a weapon that has a guard ability, which renders the flash attack useless.
