Taxonomy
Burukku are large bovines recognized by their thick, woolly fur and sharp, curved horns. These creatures are known to group together in large numbers up to hundreds of individuals in a single herd.
Habitat Range
These creatures thrive in the mountainous Highland region where they graze on multiple grasses. While most herbivores tend to migrate, Burukku stay in the Highland all year round.
Ecological Niche
Burukku are herbivores that feed on multiple grasses, weeds, tubers, and fruits that are indigenous to the Highland region. They're also preyed upon by large predators such as Gurenzeburu, Kuarusepusu, Pariapuria, Dyuragaua, along with Doragyurosu. In order to defend themselves from these predators, Burukku form large, tight-knit herds that can, on ocassion, drive away their predators by charging all at once with their curved, sharp horns at the ready.
Behavior
Burukku are known to be somewhat temperamental herbivores that prefer a wide berth. During the mating season bulls become extremely aggressive and engage in fierce battles with eachother. A bull's goal is to mate with as many cows as possible to ensure the passing of their genes. Females will then give birth to calves and raise them until said calves reach maturity.
