Darius

Darius (Japanese ダライアス), full name Darius Sol Valux (Japanese ダライアス・ソル・ヴァルクス), is a rider and the current chief of the City of Fire, Valux.

Appearance[]

Darius is an elderly yet very muscular man with blue eyes and long white hair. He also wears moustache and beard. He wears a super customized Teostra Armor consisted of armguards with a different elbow guard design and leg armors of the Kaiser Armor set. He doesn't wear neither the helmet nor the chest armor. On his body are several tattoos with sun or fire-like design. He wears one golden ring on each ear. His belt buckle, instead of the usual gear-shaped design on Kaiser Armor, is a golden Teostra head design, in which his Kinship Stone is held.

He wields the Teostra's Howl.

Background[]

The chief of the City of Fire, Valux.

He governs the city in on the belief of justice, and such he is called [Red Demon Old Man] by his people out of awe and respect.

He personally commands the Valux Subjugation Unit, which is made up of elite riders, by himself.

He loves his granddaughter Frederica very much, thus he acts as a lovely grandpa in front of her.

But when it comes to the Valux combat tournament, someone would appear. A mysterious masked rider who suddenly appear in front of the player after they won the combat tournament, all of his information are hidden, let alone his country.

With the Flame King Dragon, Teostra, as his monstie, though his splendid lance handling may make many people able to see some similarities, no one actually know Masked Tesukatoru's identity...

[Crushing Dragon Hammer] is a weapon change form of Darius, he wields a Deviljho Hammer. His element is now Dragon instead of Fire.

[Masked Tesukatoru] is an alternate form of Darius.

Appearance
As [Masked Tesukatoru], Darius basically wears the same armor as his original form. The only difference is that he now wears a half mask of Kaiser X helmet that covers his eyes and forehead.

Trivia[]

A part of Darius's disguise form's name, Masked Tesukatoru, is the back part of the Japanese name of Teostra, "Teo Tesukatoru".
Despite how obvious it is, no one actually knows the true identity of Masked Tesukatoru.
- Such is a popular trope in many media where wearing just a mask or similar equipment could completely hide one's identity.
Although not mentioned in the MHR, his weapon was named in Dragon Quest of the Stars.
