The Village Cat first appeared in Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G

Nekoht is a Felyne dressed in a snowcoat first appeared in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. This felyne gives out High-Ranked village quests in Pokke Village, allowing hunters to participate in High-Rank quests prior to being HR 4. She says her real name is a secret, but people know her as "Nekoht". In Japanese, the word "neko" means for cat.

Nekoht's quests range from 7 stars to 9 stars and contain new monsters such as the Hypnocatrice. Some quests require more than one monster to be slain. The Yian Kut-ku, Hypnocatrice and Yian Garuga quest being one of them. The quests are known as "Epic Hunting Quests".

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

Nekoht makes a cameo appearance in the ending movie of MHP3rd, in the hot spring along with the Pokke Village. Prior this it shows Nekoht's snowcoat and the Pokke Village Chief's hat.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Nekhoht makes another appearance in the dlc episodic quest "code 16010", but is known as Felcote in this game. The Felcote Coat Palico Armor can be obtained.
