For the original map introduced in Monster Hunter 3, see Flooded Forest.
The Flooded Forest is an area first introduced in Monster Hunter 3, but remade in Monster Hunter Rise.
This forest is a dense region of deep, dark green. Due to a constant flow of water, the majority of this forest has become submerged. The eye-catching ruins here can be scaled by using the Wirebug. Unlike the original, there are no swimming areas, making it more similar to the flat version found in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. New to the map is knee-level water the player can fight swimming monsters in, a mechanic first introduced in past Fifth Generation entries.
