wouldn't that destroy the point of cap guru, autotracker, and the whole guessing when to cap/when the monster is going to die? I think it would ruin MH if you just gathered a bunch of them and kept using them over and over...

in Monster hunter nothing is free, you have to work for everything in this game its not a bad idea its just very misguided User:Boltman31

Y NOT LOCK-ON?????????? AWSUM IDEA!!!!!!Ohmpahkan 13:54, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

@Ohmpahkan use proper grammer or you wont be taken seriously. It would be a good idea for the people who have insanly powerful weapons against a lvl 1 Great Jaggi, then again i like the feeling of 'Should i hit it then trap? Or just trap?' then if i do the right think and dont kill it 'YAY' but if i kill it by accident '*sigh* Next time, next time'Wyvren s 16:05, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

Do you really think I wanted to be taken seriously? The HP display thing is one of many things that would kill Monster Hunter the way it is now, just like Lock-On. If you want to know how long will a monster endure, just look at its weakness signs and don't be cheap. Limping, folding ears, etc. And why would you take a supremely powerful weapon against a Great Jaggi? Just take something that doesn't hit that hard. He limps when near death for God's sake, it's not like a Velocidrome. It's spelled "grammar" btw. Ohmpahkan 17:47, February 22,2011 (UTC)

@Ohmpakhan: I always carry extremely powerful weapons, even against a Great Jaggi. However, not even Sinister Saints with Awakening can kill a Great Jaggi in one hit, so Cap Guru will still help. Not that I'll ever really need to cap a Great Jaggi... Cobalt32 18:23, February 22, 2011 (UTC)Cobalt32

Point made. The thing is, this skill clashes too much with the game itself. Ohmpahkan 21:32, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

And lock on would be really annoying to have. Noobs complain cause they can't hit a jaggi or a giggi. Where did their skills go? I"ve seen them at amazing accuracy levels in other games, even in twilight princess, yet they mentally become nooby in monster hunter and can't hit anything worth crap. And a hp thing.... Don't you think capcom already has considered the idea? just like how they considered the whip idea. they even had a half a code for the weapon, but the idea for a whip sucked, so... I mean, ahealth bar is probably one of the first things you think of. Boss figths everywhere are less epic when you can see their health bars. Torry 00:01, February 24, 2011 (UTC)Torry
