Taxonomy
Fulgur Anjanath is a subspecies of Anjanath that instead of possessing the fire element, uses the thunder element instead.
Habitat Range
Unlike it's cousin, Fulgur Anjanath is nomadic, travelling to all known locations in the New World, such as the Ancient Forest and Elder's Recess.
Ecological Niche
Fulgur Anjanath are carnivorous, feeding on monsters such as Popo and Aptonoth. It roams several of the locals in the New World, searching for prey and occasionally getting into turf wars with other Apex Monsters, such as Tigrex and Barioth.
Biological Adaptations
Fulgur Anjanath is much stronger than it's counterpart, being able to hold it's own against apex predators such as Tigrex and Barioth. Unlike Anjanath, Fulgur Anjanath uses the thunder element, slowly charging it up as the battle pursues. It generates this electricity with a special organ from within, utilizing it with it's already impressive physical strength. When charged up, it's mucus will become electrified, with Fulgur Anjanath hurling it at it's foes. It can also bite down and cause the ground to become electrified, creating a big explosion that will damage anything within it. When fully charged, Fulgur Anjanath will fold back it's wings and launch itself at an opponent, causing both a massive explosion as well as causing massive amounts of damage to hunters and monsters alike.
Much like Anjanath, it possess two small wing-like sails on it's back. These wings are hidden within the monster's fur when folded back. It is likely that the wings serve the same purpose as Anjanath's.
