Gonngenn Hermitaur are a Lone Species of Daimyo Hermitaur, first introduced in Monster Hunter Online.
Physiology[]
Gonngenn Hermitaur feature dark brown and white bodies, with their claws notably being covered in numerous crystals of varying size which light up when enraged.
Abilities[]
Gonngenn fights very much like a normal Daimyo Hermitaur, however there are some changes to their existing attacks, such as, instead of swinging both claws directly in front of it in a scissor-slash, Gonngenn Hermitaur will instead leap towards hunters before doing so if they're out of range. When enraged, exploding crystals will be sent flying off their claws during many of their attacks, damaging hunters they collide with.
Behavior[]
Gonngenn Hermitaur are very cautious creatures keeping a close eye on everything around them; when threatened they are known to hide behind their pincers in an attempt to blend into the caves they inhabit, however if cornered they will fight back with surprising ferocity.
Habitat[]
Gonngenn Hermitaur inhabits the cavernous areas of the Esther Lake.
