“ | Noted for its projecting cranial crests and bluish-white skin that's adapted to snowy climates. It craftily commands other Baggi to surround their prey before instigating an all-out attack. | „
Great Baggi is a Bird Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter 3.
Appearance
Its eyes will glow yellow in the dark. Great Baggi are matured male Baggi that have taken over a pack of their own. Great Baggi is also slightly larger than the Great Jaggi.
Located on its head is a crest that can be obtained in a way similar to Great Jaggi's frill.
Abilities
It has developed its own unique ability; it can spit a tranquilizing liquid that inflicts sleep on its prey or hunters. It also has developed the ability to command Baggi to surround prey or hunters and spit tranquilizing liquid at them with a roar.
Behavior
Great Baggi and Great Jaggi are often seen to be hostile towards other boss monsters; when in the same area they will occasionally cease fighting the hunter to attack other monsters.

Hunting Tips
“ | It commands many lesser Baggi to form a wave of all-out offense; a tactful hunter will pick off the herd one by one and avoid being surrounded. The Great Baggi spits out a sedative venom that will knock you out if you're struck by it, but having Energy Drinks on hand helps offset that threat. | „
