MHFU Great Forest Resource Map
The Great Forest is an area introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier Season 1.0. It is a lush, tropical rainforest characterized by thick green vegetation, towering trees, clear freshwater lakes and rivers, and a single massive tree at its center. This area is home to many wild monsters, such as Hypnocatrice, Espinas, Emerald Congalala and Nargacuga.

A section between cliffs, there are many giant tree roots doting the landscape. |

A forested section with many patches of vegetation and large trees, the roots of the giant tree extend into this area. |

A darker, heavily forested section, commonly inhabited by herbivores. |

A large cave created in the roots of the giant tree, used as a nest and resting spot by wyverns. |

A Felyne village, King Shakalaka can appear here. |

| Secret Area | |

An unreachable area atop the great tree, there are a few Bullfango and Great Thunderbugs here, dropping down the middle section leads to Area 7. |
