MHFU Great Forest Resource Map
The Great Forest is an area introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier Season 1.0. It is a lush, tropical rainforest characterized by thick green vegetation, towering trees, clear freshwater lakes and rivers, and a single massive tree at its center. This area is home to many wild monsters, such as Hypnocatrice, Espinas, Emerald Congalala and Nargacuga.

| A path with dense vegetation, there are massive trees and a crystaline pond from where the waterfalls can be seen, and a fishable pond near the entrance. | |

| A section between cliffs, there are many giant tree roots doting the landscape. | |
| Monsters: Bullfango, Vespoid, Genprey, Velociprey. | |
| Area 4 | |
| A clearing from which the lake and distant lands can be seen. | |
| Monsters: Mosswine, Velociprey, Conga, Hermitaur, Melynx. | |
| Area 5 | |
| A forested section with many patches of vegetation and large trees, the roots of the giant tree extend into this area. | |
| Monsters: Genprey, Velociprey, Great Thunderbug, Conga, Kelbi, Bullfango. | |
| Area 6 | |
| A darker, heavily forested section, commonly inhabited by herbivores. | |
| Monsters: Kelbi, Mosswine, Aptonoth, Bullfango, Great Thunderbug, Genprey. | |
| Area 7 | |
| A large cave created in the roots of the giant tree, used as a nest and resting spot by wyverns. | |
| Monsters: Velociprey, Genprey, Ioprey, Giaprey, Great Thunderbug, Conga. | |
| Area 8 | |
| A Felyne village, King Shakalaka can appear here. | |
| Monsters: Melynx, Shakalaka. | |
| Secret Area | |
| An unreachable area atop the great tree, there are a few Bullfango and Great Thunderbugs here, dropping down the middle section leads to Area 7. | |
