The Guardian Arkveld is a Construct based on Arkveld, first introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Physiology[]
Guardian Arkveld is nearly identical to its standard counterpart, with glowing veins covering its head, body, forelimbs, and chainblades. It appears more white in comparison to normal Arkveld.
Behavior and Abilities[]
Like other Guardians, Guardian Arkveld can draw power from Wyvern Milk, but also enhance its own abilities by draining power from monsters. This led to it evolving the ability and desire to prey on other Guardians. Driven into a frenzy by an endless thirst for Wyvern Milk and developing a feeding instinct that it could not possibly benefit from, it became a threat to the ecosystem of the Ruins of Wyveria and had to be put down.
Guardian Arkveld's chainblade attacks release explosions that create Wylkrystals on pools of Wyvern Milk. During the final battle, it gains the ability to use Dragon element attacks after feeding from Guardian Seikret pods.

General Notes
- Guardian Arkveld serves as the penultimate boss of the Low Rank storyline.
- Guardian Arkveld currently cannot be refought. The materials to create its equipment can be obtained from other Guardians and its base species in High Rank.
- Until the first title update Zoh Shia also was a one time only hunt.
- Guardian Arkveld is the only Construct Monster to be based on an Extinct Species.
- Guardian Arkveld can be power clashed by blocking its bite or chainblade slams.
- Guardian Arkveld's weapons are named after the Knights of the Round Table from Arthurian mythos. The same holds true for its base species counterpart.
- Guardian Arkveld can sometimes be seen feeding on Guardian cocoons in the Ruins of Wyveria by simultaneously piercing the cocoon with its chainblades to drain its energy, while devouring the hibernating Construct inside.
