Jie Lung is a Brute Wyvern first introduced in Monster Hunter Online.
Physiology[]
Jie Lung is an unique Brute Wyvern with a similar body structure like Brachydios. Unlike the latter, its arms have blade-like shape with visible claws and it has a sharp looking face with a front horn and a long red one on the back of its head. The long tail is covered with red tipped lime green fin-like spikes and red tipped lime green fins at the end of Jie Lung's tail. Jie Lung's unique legs have three red claws on them with red spikes behind its legs. Most of its scales are lime green and its underbelly is grey with a line of downward spikes.
Abilities[]
Unlike the other Brute Wyverns, Jie Lung can cover its head with its arms to charge at hunters with incredible speed. It is also capable of making sharp turns while charging at hunters. Similar to Brachydios punch attacks, Jie Lung is capable of punching hunters with its blade-like arms, as well as smashing them on hunters. Its also capable of dodging some hunters' attacks by releasing excess steam from its pores, which Jie Lung can also use to enhance its punching range.
When in Rage Mode, Jie Lung will let loose a lot of excess steam from its pores on each side of its body. This will increase Jie Lung's charging speed at hunters. If hunters get hit by its long tail, they will be inflicted with waterblight, making it easy for the monster to charge at tired hunters. Also, like most Brute Wyverns, Jie Lung can jump at hunters with incredible heights.
Habitat[]
Jie Lung only lives in the Moonlands and Ghost Rune Volcanoes
