In Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate one of the first people to join the Caravan is a Felyne by the name "Street Cook", he will join you early on at Val Habar. And he will be your go-to person for eating! Well him and the Tables at the Gathering Hall and the Elder Hall. Foods are ordered in Combinations of 2, which depending of the Combination, will give you specific buffs like, Higher Max Health, Stamina, Elemental Resistances, Damage and Defense Buff, etc. After having chosen a Combination, you can select one of 4 different ways to prepare the meal! Which one you pick, will give you a different set of temporary skills that will help you on your next quest! Starting off these Food buffs aren't that strong, but as you progress, complete villager requests and complete certain quests, these Ingredients will get all the better! So remember! Always eat before the hunt!
