  • 53 returning monster were added in Now; 7 Small monsters, 46 Large monsters.
  • Returning 1st Generation monsters are Basarios, Diablos, Black Diablos, Khezu, Kirin, Rathalos, Azure Rathalos, Silver Rathalos, Rathian, Pink Rathian and Gold Rathian.
    • Black Diablos first appeared in Monster Hunter Now during the Diablos Invasion timed event on September 23rd, 2023.
    • Pink Rathian first appeared in Monster Hunter Now during the A cherry-colored season timed event on October 9th, 2023.
    • Azure Rathalos first appeared in Monster Hunter Now during the Descent of the Azure King timed event on January 15th, 2024.
    • Basarios and Khezu were added in Monster Hunter Now's third Major update: Dancing in the Tempest.
    • Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos first appeared in Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2024: Shibuya paid timed event on October 12, 2024 (Global November 2, 2024).

    • Tigrex was added in Monster Hunter Now's fifth Major update: Roars from the Winterwind.
  • Returning 3rd Generation monsters are Arzuros, Barioth, Barroth, Deviljho, Lagombi, Volvidon and Zinogre.
    • Barioth and Zinogre were added in Monster Hunter Now's first Major update: Fulminations in the Frost.
      • Barioth was made unavailable after the launch of Monster Hunter Now's second Major update: The Vernal Invader. He was brought back on Season 4: Roars from the Winterwind.
    • Deviljho was added in Monster Hunter Now's second Major update: The Vernal Invader.
    • Lagombi and Volvidon were added in Monster Hunter Now's fifth Major update: Roars from the Winterwind.

  • The returning 4th Generation monster is Glavenus and Mizutsune.

    • Cortos, Wulg, Banbaro and Radobaan were added in Monster Hunter Now's first Major update: Fulminations in the Frost.
      • Cortos and Wulg were made unavailable after the launch of Monster Hunter Now's second Major update: The Vernal Invader.
        • Barnos does not spawn in any biomes, but is present in the game, and has been for an unknown amount of time.[1] In the attachment, a hunt-a-thon bug displays incorrect monsters; the last in the list actually renders the Barnos with its spawning biomes marked as "None".
    • Odogaron and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku were added in Monster Hunter Now's second Major update: The Vernal Invader.
    • Coral Pukei-Pukei first appeared in Monster Hunter Now during the Spring forward with Coral Pukei-Pukei! timed event on March 25th, 2024.
    • Nightshade Paolumu first appeared in Monster Hunter Now during the Summer Hunt 2024: Dark Daydreams paid timed event on July 20th, 2024.
    • Aknosom and Magnamalo were added in Monster Hunter Now's fourth Major update: Curse of the Wandering Flames, as part of Monster Hunter Now's 1st anniversary celebration.
    • Nergigante first appeared in Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2024: Shibuya paid timed event on October 12, 2024 (Global November 2, 2024). He would be permanently added to the game starting December 2, 2024 during Monster Hunter Now Season 3 Climax event.
    • Somnacanth was added in Monster Hunter Now's fifth Major update: Roars from the Winterwind.
