Notes:

After completing the Prologue, the Pre-Season Story will begin, then after its completion, players will start the current Season Story at a difficulty of . Upon completing a Season Story, players may challenge it again from the beginning at a higher difficulty. Doing this unlocks higher star rank monsters in the field, as well as raises the star rank of Urgent Quest monsters. Completing a Season Story the first time will unlock monsters, and further completions will raise it by one star, up to a maximum of . HRP () rewarded for completing quests may or may not change depending on how many times the story has been completed. Quests with a white background and bold purple text are Urgent Quests and provide a monster that can be challenged at any time from the quest menu. Urgent Quests have no limit to the amount of times you're allowed to attempt them. Urgent Quests have their star rank adjusted to how many times you've repeated the story so far. In this page, this is represented by an X, X being the story's current star rank. It is possible to lower the difficulty of the story quests by up to two stars depending on your current star rank, and to a minimum difficulty of via a button on the Settings page in-game.

Fulminations in the Frost
This quest line was acessible after the launch of the Major update: Fulminations in the Frost, but was made unavailable after the launch of the Major update: The Vernal Invader. It appeared in the "Special" tab of the quest menus, and was available alongside the Main Story, instead of replacing it. This questline could not be repeated, and once completed would simply disappear.

• Before the Major Update: The Vernal Invader release, the Pre-Season Story was called the Main Story.
• The ability to lower the difficulty of the story was added along with The Vernal Invader.
• The Fulminations in the Frost quest line was available alongside the Pre-Season Story and was considered an Event Quest, while The Vernal Invader quest line replaced the Pre-Season Story after the first completion of the latter.
