Mernos is a Wingdrake first introduced in Monster Hunter: World. These Wingdrakes feast on scatternuts. The flock will travel great distances when startled, making them an invaluable mode of transportation for clever hunters. They can be found in the Ancient Forest, and Wildspire Waste.
Physiology[]
Mernos are wingdrakes that somewhat resemble certain species of rhamphorynchoid pterosaur like Dimorphodon. They have hatchet-like beaks, blue skin, and a long yellow-tipped tail.
Abilities and Behavior[]
They are peaceful towards the hunter, and roam the primal forests to feed on nuts. They live in small flocks, and if one individual goes somewhere, the others will follow. They are commonly used as beasts-of-burden by hunters in the new world.
