Long time no speak! I don't know if you remember me, but I'm that guy from back in the 2007-2010ish days from the MH Wiki Chat, I was Ryuk. We played Tri together once and you hated playing with me because I was so bad back then! (Don't blame you lol)
I don't know if you're still active or if you ever log in here anymore, but I thought I'd drop you a message in hopes of maybe being able to catch up sometime. I came back on here because it was nostalgic thinking back to the old days almost 11 years ago now, we all used to have a ridiculously fun time trolling and causing mayhem on chat together.
Everyone else that used to be around seems to have just disappeared. But if you ever see this, it'd be cool to talk again, perhaps on a different platform since this site is a bit iffy for conversations, what with no chatroom anymore.
It's the wiki's list because of publishing policies perhaps but I do consider it my list as well as I build it from nothing and am responsible for the majority (almost everything) in it. Inform me in the future when you decide on things again about stuff that involves my work, rather than shoving it down my throat and everyone I make the stuff for. Thank you.
Might I suggest using commas when referring to values in the thousands? Some westerners don't use the same mathematical symbols in the same way and may be confused by the point. Also, you use a point in the multiplier section of the page; which could add to the confusion.
This isn't a "Guide", it's a page that will state what it is and all the detail about it, any guidelines are just an extra.
Seeing as they literally list millions in game without any commas at all, as well as other MH game doing the same thing (with the Wikia following suit) there is no point in adding any commas here.
I initially used commas because I thought it may help reading the numbers easier. However, in my own country we have a very contradicting way of adding commas or dots ourselves. It's kinda confusing for me who uses what nowadays. On that note, I have removed the commas and dots.
I also want to point another thing out. This page is not a guide but an article I am writing to explain what Hunter Festival is, how it works and what benefits it has. I want it to be informative at its core, not directive.
Just want to say, great guide! I have a few questions though. What kind of gear would I need to use to be able to properly do these quests? From reading the ads that randoms have, I generally want a weapon of G30+ strength at level 1, going to G50 at 1k. What armor should I have? GF? GX? Sorry if I have no clue what tiers of armor there are in G rank.
Well for starting up I would suggest you go with the Entora Set from Hunter Navigation and get it to GX. Use those guren gems for buchigire (guts lv3 / adre) to survive and slowly build up your attack power.
