Nightcloak Malfestio are Bird Wyverns and Deviants of Malfestio, introduced in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
Physiology
Nightcloak Malfestio has golden scales on its chest and the edges of its wings and bright red wing webbing and tail feathers. Its tail feathers are dark purple in color and resemble a four-pointed claw.
Abilities
In addition to using larger clouds of confusion scales, Nightcloak Malfestio have the ability to turn invisible, like Lucent Nargacuga or Chameleos. They can also steal items from hunters.
Behavior
Nightcloak Malfestio's use of invisibility allows it to more easily sneak up on prey, giving it a more aggressive disposition. Its devilish behavior and abilities mean that hunters require special permission to hunt it.

- Nightcloak Malfestio is one of the G-rank exclusive Deviants.

- Its head, tail, and both wings can be broken.
- Breaking its head makes it unable to completely turn invisible.
- Staggering it while it's cloaked will topple it and drop a shiny.
- When low on stamina, it will sparkle while cloaked.
