Omega Micros

Omega Micros are small monsters of the unknown category, first introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds. They are part of a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV.

Physiology[]

Omega Micros look exactly like their giant counterpart, albeit in a much smaller scale, hence their moniker. In addition, the visor glows red instead of Planetes's yellow.

Behavior and Abilities[]

The sole function of an Omega Micros is to exterminate. They close in on whatever target they are assigned to, and then explode upon contact.

Monster Hunter Wilds
{{{Icon 1}}}	Small machines manufactured by Omega Planetes. They home in on hunters, then self-destruct. Because they're sensitive to sound, a sonic bomb can be used to draw their attention. Additionally, they occasionally create a shield when destroyed, protecting against certain attacks, which could prove advantageous.
