-As is suggested blocking weapons are very helpful with Plesioth, unfortunatly hammers are too awesome to block.  So here are a few pointers of pounding the shark wyvern to sushi.  First is to stay either infront or under the legs.   Being to the side on Plesioth never helps anyone.  His jets are easy enough to dodge when in front and will completely miss by the legs.  Being undre the legs has a world of pain if not done correctly.  Plesioth has a tendency to hip-check when hunters are close.  To avoid the hip-check you have one option, ROLL.  Roll towards Plesioth.  It sonds crazy but if you get on the other side of him before he can move it will miss.  Then when he moves back into posistion combo his feet.  I '''ALWAYS''' bring a good sharpness hammer.  I prefer to use a lightning hammer.  It is hard to get ahold of hammers with an element trust me I know, but the khezue hammer, and Crytal Nova both work well on Plesioth.
