+ | *When low on health, it will retreat to Area 15 and enter its final phase, which has a unique theme. It starts by performing a move that activates barriers over the area's exits. In this phase, its slime puddles do not explode by themselves but instead linger and deal damage over time when stepped on. Raging Brachydios gains two special attacks: a roar that causes slime to appear under a hunter's feet, and another that detonates all slime in the area. These explosions deal slight damage to Raging Brachydios. |

Revision as of 23:52, 26 April 2020
Raging Brachydios is a Brute Wyvern and a Variant of Brachydios first introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.
Physiology
Raging Brachydios sports a green shell with yellow-orange slime mold on its forelimbs, head, back, and tail that turns red when it becomes enraged. It is noticeably larger than normal Brachydios and moves slower as a result.
Abilities
It is an unusual Brachydios individual with abnormal activation of its Slime Mold and the usual Slime Mold on certain parts of its body has become a lot more active than before. The slime that covers it is capable of exploding; this can only occur if the hunter stays in close proximity and if the slime on the Raging Brachydios is glowing bright red. It is also worth mentioning that the slime puddles explode at a noticeably faster rate.
Habitat
In the Old World, Raging Brachydios is only found within the Ingle Isle. In the New World, it can be found in volcanic areas, such as the Guiding Lands.
