Raphinos is a Wingdrake first introduced in Monster Hunter: World.
Physiology
Raphinos are wingdrakes that resemble parrots or tapejarid pterosaurs. They have a light pink skin and wings with ribbon-like appendages hanging from them.
Behavior
Raphinos will peacefully roam the coral landscape in large flocks, occasionally feeding on coral eggs. The flock can be cleverly led to certain places if a hunter grabs hook on one, as the rest will follow where that individual will go.

General Notes
- They are preyed upon by Legiana and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku.
- Infected Raphinos can be found at the Rotten Vale. These ones are aggressive towards the hunter because of their state. Bodies of Raphinos can additionally fall to the Vale on occasions and can be carved for materials.
