Risen Chameleos is an Elder Dragon and Risen variant of Chameleos first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Physiology[]
Risen Chameleos' appearance is noticeably different from a standard Chameleos, now being mostly gray and black with some areas (such as its head, feet, wingarms, and tail) still being slightly purple. Its body is covered in wounds resembling burns, which have a bright orange glow upon entering its Risen state.
Behavior and Abilities[]
This version of Chameleos has overcome being afflicted by the Qurio and has become more powerful as a result. Its physical abilities are heightened and its poison becomes more volatile, allowing it to perform multiple new poison attacks that cover a wider area, and utilize its poison to cause massive toxic explosions. It is also considerably more aggressive with its physical attacks, such as its usage of its tongue to grab and pin hunters, and can notably turn invisible and perform attacks simultaneously.
