Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax is an Elder Dragon and Risen variant of Crimson Glow Valstrax first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Physiology[]
Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax' appearance is noticeably different from a standard Valstrax and Variant counterpart, with most of its body darkened with certain parts (their heads and torsos) retaining their metallic grey coloring. At the tip of the spikes and wing exhaust are wounds resembling burns, which have a bright orange glow upon entering its Risen state.
Abilities[]
This version of Crimson Glow Valstrax has overcome being afflicted by the Qurio and has become more powerful as a result. In addition to its heightened physical abilities and speed, its dragon energy becomes more unstable, allowing it to unleash violent explosive attacks that cover a wider area, use enhanced wing strikes that leave more explosive dragon energy behind, and focus all their power into one wing for a devastating blow. When dive-bombing targets in the Risen state, they will prelude the dive with an aerial bombardment of dragon energy blasts to pin down the target before crashing into them at full force.
Behavior[]
The already violent Elder Dragon becomes more aggressive than ever before, due to its already rampant energy being enhanced further by the Qurio. It is considered a greater threat than even Crimson Glow Valstrax. It is one of the strongest Risen Elder Dragons, alongside Risen Shagaru Magala.
