It likes to use a grab attack where it knocks you down, picks you up, then drops you. This forces you into a prone state where you are on your back and can crawl away and eventually roll.

Extremely sure. This is how non-shafted feathers look, similar to those of emu or real life extinct Tyrannosauroids. The feathers of Yutyrannus for example are equally "hair-like" in superficial appearance. For all the creative liberties they take the creatures based on real animals in MH don't tend to make errors like mixing up fur with feathers.

At one point in-game is it ever stated Anjanath has fur?
Changing it back to feathers until someone has a source for that.

- Read the material list, Anjanath is explictly stated as having a Pelt, a term not used for frathers, with the Master Rank being outright called Fur. Chimera-gui (talk) 18:01, October 14, 2019 (UTC)
