Looking at the trailer, it's obviously a new monster. It's nothing like any other monster, not even a Plesioth. But to directly answer your question, it's not confirmed and its existance is speculated by observation. PitchBlack696 20:49, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

my guess is its another fatalis because theres been a subspecies added in all monster hunters not counting G's and Frontier. im counting the crimson as Monster Hunter 1 even though the regular fatalis also had to be introduced. but think about an Azure Fatalis assuming its blue that would be awesome and make sense so far we have black & white and then Crimson & _________ exactly. dont believe me? thats ok. im probaly wrong

Its possible,then again we were wrong abot espinas being a plant lao. But it could turn out an Espinas Related wyvern, A Water Fatalis or A New species of monster. Specimen

im sure Ragi is likely an elder dragon because he's amphibious(not only water, travels on land). if anyone is happy to consider this as an elder dragon, please confirm.

God! Stop over-speculating. It's not an Elder Dragon, it's much too weak and there are numerous specimens, it is like Rathalos and Rathian it rules a certain domain, it is basically the King Laviathan and it couldn't be an Elder Dragon as there is evidence that there could be hundreds, or even thousands of Lagia. chak-chak boom is right right it is not an elder dragon but king of the water laviathans as the agnaktor is king of the fire laviathans. [ thetrueblade ]

Traps and Devices

I noticed the Traps and Devices table for this guy and I wanted to update it but it's locked. While I was attacking the guy with my ubber low equipped hunter (Bowgirl) I noticed that when I throw a Sonic Bomb Underwater it has a chance to make him flinch. Rage Mode

is the lagi's rage mode really signified by glowing spikes?
i'm pretty sure it actually has red eyes/bubbles coming out of his mouth, the white is just from electricity buildup just like out of rage mode.

Slight Inaccuracy

I was reading the page and it said that the Lagi's dermal spikes light up whenever it enrages. This is not particularly accurate. The dermal spikes charge when the Lagi starts using high grade attacks such as his lightning aura, and may or may not be charged when he enrages. The charge is then spent when the Lagi uses his very powerful lightning aura, or when he uses many minor lightning attacks. I've seen him on land and tired with his spikes charged, so the glowing back isn't a clear sign of an enraged Lagi. Doradangunner 22:36, June 4, 2010 (UTC)

The glowing back on land means he his finished resting. His back does not glow on land, even in rage. It glows when he has finished resting. ZirePhoenix 06:00, August 29, 2010 (UTC)

A Pissed Lagia under water will fume bubbles from it's mouth. On land Lighting will sparkle around it's mouth (much like the opening) RydiaFromFF2 04:56, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Lagiacrus Size

How big is the Lagiacrus in feet? Not cm, feet.

If you really have to ask that question, here is the best way to determine the Lagia's size in feet. There is 30cm to a foot so just divide the cm by 30 and the quotient should be how big the Lagia is in feet. Lightna 14:02, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

Dissapointment in the Lagiacrus

I was looking very much forward to an interesting fight against the Lagiacrus but to my dismay, I found the fight easy and as is noted, many moves the Lagiacrus has is shared with the Royal Ludroth. It makes me sad that the Lagiacrus did not give me the challenge I was seeking out of it. The Lagia is still a favorite of mine but the fight was just a cloned fight that failed to give me the satisfaction of the kill. Anyone else have my dissapointment on this monster? What the glitch?!

I have no way of proving it (can't screenshot the television obviously) but I am currently fighting a Lagiacrus which is swimming in mid-air. This is a very odd glitch and I am wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this...~ Yasamito 07:32, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

For additional information. I was freehunting the Lagiacrus in Moga Village to get the 4star rare commodity. I was being rather lazy about fighting it so it knocked me out. I have +16 psychic on so I could see it was over land on the map in area 10, then when I went there (camp -> 9 -> 10) Lagiacrus was floating in midair, moving like he was swimming (though his height above the land was constant, he was reachable with an upwards lance shot) ~ Yasamito 21:53, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Trouble

I got a coin for killing him online. I know the person gives you arena quest said you could use the coin to make his armour, but i don't know how to make the armour from the coin.
