Looking at the trailer, it's obviously a new monster. It's nothing like any other monster, not even a Plesioth. But to directly answer your question, it's not confirmed and its existance is speculated by observation. PitchBlack696 20:49, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

my guess is its another fatalis because theres been a subspecies added in all monster hunters not counting G's and Frontier.
im counting the crimson as Monster Hunter 1 even though the regular fatalis also had to be introduced.

Its possible,then again we were wrong abot espinas being a plant lao. But it could turn out an Espinas Related wyvern, A Water Fatalis or A New species of monster. Traps and Devices
I noticed the Traps and Devices table for this guy and I wanted to update it but it's locked. While I was attacking the guy with my ubber low equipped hunter (Bowgirl) I noticed that when I throw a Sonic Bomb Underwater it has a chance to make him flinch. is the lagi's rage mode really signified by glowing spikes?
