Has it been confirmed that it actualy exists or is it just speculation? -PJCO
Looking at the trailer, it's obviously a new monster. It's nothing like any other monster, not even a Plesioth. But to directly answer your question, it's not confirmed and its existance is speculated by observation. PitchBlack696 20:49, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
I thought it looked like a plesioth at first PJCO
I personally think it might be a swimming wyvern(i Didnt say piscine) related to Espinas. User:AkamulbasX
my guess is its another fatalis because theres been a subspecies added in all monster hunters not counting G's and Frontier. im counting the crimson as Monster Hunter 1 even though the regular fatalis also had to be introduced. but think about an Azure Fatalis assuming its blue that would be awesome and make sense so far we have black & white and then Crimson & _________ exactly. dont believe me? thats ok. im probaly wrong
Its possible, then again we were wrong abot espinas being a plant lao. But it could turn out an Espinas Related wyvern, A Water Fatalis or A New species of monster. Heck it could be a deshelled swimming lao at this point. oh and they didnt really show its color so no one can say its blue we are just assuming its blue. AkamulbasX 15:03, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
capcom's probably thinking fatlis+plessy= Unknown Sea Monster
just like the white fata fatlis+kirin=white fata maybe
Huh, a Fatalis. I always thought it was gonna some new type of Tigrex subspecies, like Akantor or Ucamulbas. Vizard45 12:15, 14 September 2008(UTC)
Dude its not a fatalis.AkamulbasX 20:35, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
That, looks bad-ass. I can't wait to fight it, and I also would like to see its armor and weapons. Vizard45 5:30 21 September 2008(UTC)
It Does look Frickin Awsome thiugh. I wonder what the underwater controls will be like?AkamulbasX 20:35, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I bet that thing would be hard to solo it but IMO, it would be better if we just LS it out of the water but meh, it's boring anyway so i guess that sea monster will be MH3's flagship monster i guess Harith hunter 01:05, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- This is only my opinion, but I had an epic battle with him. For the first 70-85% of the fight he never hit me, only Cha-Cha. GeneralOwnage55 The Message Box 12:44, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
hehehehe wrong again
wrong about the akala ,wrong about this hehehehheit seens like im allways wrongs hehe pity but he does look cool.
new sea monster
well its blue scales on its back are like the volgnos and its face is like the fatalis.
looks hard to kill il give it a try
im sure Ragi is likely an elder dragon because he's amphibious(not only water, travels on land). if anyone is happy to consider this as an elder dragon, please confirm.

God! Stop over-speculating. It's not an Elder Dragon, it's much too weak and there are numerous specimens, it is like Rathalos and Rathian it rules a certain domain, it is basically the King Laviathan and it couldn't be an Elder Dragon as there is evidence that there could be hundreds, or even thousands of Lagia. Traps and Devices
I noticed the Traps and Devices table for this guy and I wanted to update it but it's locked. While I was attacking the guy with my ubber low equipped hunter (Bowgirl) I noticed that when I throw a Sonic Bomb Underwater it has a chance to make him flinch. I've thrown a few and noticed he will usually flinch out of an attack. RydiaFromFF2 04:09, May 5, 2010 (UTC)
I've never heard someone call it Ragia, most people call it Lagi
is the lagi's rage mode really signified by glowing spikes?
i'm pretty sure it actually has red eyes/bubbles coming out of his mouth, the white is just from electricity buildup just like out of rage mode.
a person too lazy to sign
- Basically, the monster on the cover. Yamstis T/C 12:51, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah. I should be able to take the Lagi pretty easily since i've seen what he can do from PrinceBoo's videos. And I easily fought him for the repel quest. GeneralOwnage55 The Message Box 12:57, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
I was reading the page and it said that the Lagi's dermal spikes light up whenever it enrages. This is not particularly accurate. The dermal spikes charge when the Lagi starts using high grade attacks such as his lightning aura, and may or may not be charged when he enrages. The charge is then spent when the Lagi uses his very powerful lightning aura, or when he uses many minor lightning attacks. I've seen him on land and tired with his spikes charged, so the glowing back isn't a clear sign of an enraged Lagi. Doradangunner 22:36, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
The glowing back on land means he his finished resting. His back does not glow on land, even in rage. It glows when he has finished resting. ZirePhoenix 06:00, August 29, 2010 (UTC)
- A Pissed Lagia under water will fume bubbles from it's mouth. On land Lighting will sparkle around it's mouth (much like the opening) RydiaFromFF2 04:56, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
How big is the Lagiacrus in feet? Not cm, feet.
If you really have to ask that question, here is the best way to determine the Lagia's size in feet. There is 30cm to a foot so just divide the cm by 30 and the quotient should be how big the Lagia is in feet. Lightna 14:02, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
Dissapointment in the Lagiacrus
I was looking very much forward to an interesting fight against the Lagiacrus but to my dismay, I found the fight easy and as is noted, many moves the Lagiacrus has is shared with the Royal Ludroth. It makes me sad that the Lagiacrus did not give me the challenge I was seeking out of it. The Lagia is still a favorite of mine but the fight was just a cloned fight that failed to give me the satisfaction of the kill. Anyone else have my dissapointment on this monster? Lightna 14:06, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
I have no way of proving it (can't screenshot the television obviously) but I am currently fighting a Lagiacrus which is swimming in mid-air. This is a very odd glitch and I am wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this...~ Yasamito 07:32, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
