The Town is an area introduced in Monster Hunter 2. It is located in and around Dundorma and is often the target of attacks from Elder Dragons and other powerful monsters.

Weapons and Items

The Town is armed with mounted Ballista Turrets, Cannons and a Dragonator. In addition to these weapons, many types of supply items can be gathered from base camp and Areas 1 and 2.

Notes

The Town is actually a part of Dundorma.
The Town has the most number of Ballista Turrets (x6) for any location.
Yama Tsukami can be fought in the Town only in Monster Hunter 2 and in Monster Hunter Frontier.
Before Shen Gaoren is in sight at area 3, the acid blasts it shoots land in Area 1.
An upgraded version of the Town is used in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, known as the Battlequarters.
