Turf Wars are a mechanic introduced into Monster Hunter World. When two monsters meet, they might engage in a cinematic battle where either one or both monsters take significant damage and drop an item.
Bond Attacks are a mechanic introduced into Monster Hunter World with the introduction of Lunastra as a DLC. They are a special attack that has two monsters fuse their attacks together to create a massive, highly damaging attack. So far the only monsters that can do this are Teostra and Lunastra.

- Despite the animations appearing to be in its favour, Nergigante's turf wars with Kushala Daora, Teostra, and Lunastra are ties, as both combatants take the same amount of damage (in terms of % of HP) and there isn't a clear loser, as neither is downed after the Turf War ends.
- Every time Deviljho engages in a Turf War, it will enter rage mode, unless it was already enraged prior to the Turf War.
- If not including subspecies, Rathalos has the most turf wars out of any monster in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
- Out of all the monsters in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Rajang has the most turf wars.
