Some concerns about importing MHP3rd

Hey everyone, Andrew here. I've been seriously considering importing MHP3rd from www.play-asia.com, but there's been a concern of mine that's been holding me back: Is the game worth getting if I can't understand Japanese? How lost will I be? Are there any parts of the game that are unbeatable if I can't understand the instructions? Your answers will make or break my decision, so I hope to hear back!
