Interesting Facts About Legiana[]

Known as the Wind Drifting Wyvern (Japanese 風漂竜) Legiana is the top predator of the Coral Highlands.
- It is sometimes called the Lord of the Coral Highlands (Japanese 陸珊瑚の台地の主) or the Brillant Hunter (Japanese 華麗なるハンター).
Wind Drifting Wyvern is its title because of the way it flies in its environment. Unlike other Flying Wyverns, Legiana's wings are designed for picking up wind currents in its environment so that it can fly in the air. It also has webbing covering its head and tail, allowing it to pick up wind currents with those parts as well.
- The wing membrane of Legiana is quite different from other Flying Wyverns.
- Rathalos rules the skies one way, while Legiana rules the skies another way.
- Legiana is described to be an elegant dancer of the sky.
- Despite being an adapted flyer, Legiana doesn't fight very well on land.
- If the webbing on its wings, head, or tail are torn, it'll hinder Legiana's flying abilities. Poisoning Legiana will also hinder it.
Legiana has a frost sac, an organ that produces cold air, in its body used for producing the ice element. It doesn't breathe ice from its mouth like other monsters that use the element rather it releases it from pores on its body. It is able to release cold air from its whole body at will, slowing down fleeing prey in an instant.
- It was discovered that breaking certain parts of Legiana will prevent it from producing ice.

Legiana's primary prey in the Coral Highlands is Raphinos.
Legiana are highly territorial in nature, meaning they are hostile to just about anything that enters their territory. They sometimes have territorial disputes Paolumu.
- Recently, it has been witnessed that Deviljho are able to overpower Legiana easily.
