Interesting Facts About Banbaro[]

Order: Saurischia - Suborder: Theropoda - Superfamily: Plate Horned Wyvern - Family: Banbaro

  • Banbaro is a large Brute Wyvern that is found living in the Hoarfrost Reach.
    • Despite its appearance, Banbaro can be found wandering through a variety of environments. It is currently unknown how Banbaro can live in so many different locales.
    • Banbaro primarily live in the Hoarfrost Reach.
  • Unlike most other Brute Wyverns, Banbaro is a herbivore that grazes on plant life in its environment. Though a plant-eater, Banbaro can't easily digest plant matter, so it drinks from the hot springs in the Hoarfrost Reach. The hot springs contain microorganisms that help it process food in its body.
  • Similar to the therizinosaurs, it is thought that Banbaro's ancestors might've been carnivorous before eventually becoming herbivores, and its front limbs also imply this as well.
  • Banbaro have giant horns used for digging up plants buried under snow or other substances. When threatened by a predator, a Banbaro will use its horns to charge down its attackers. As it charges forward, it'll pick up any objects (Boulders, trees, etc.) in its way with its horns, and it'll use them as a weapon against its assailant.
    • Depending on the locale, a Banbaro can pick up all sorts of objects in its horns as it charges. For example, Banbaro have been seen rolling balls of magma out of the ground in the Elder's Recess as they defend themselves.
    • Male Banbaro mainly use their horns for display, attracting females and scaring off rival males. However, it seems that male and female Banbaro look identical to one another, so it can be hard to tell both genders apart.
  • Banbaro uses its giant horns and furry tail to balance its body evenly.
  • Since Banbaro has small front limbs, it is considered likely that it uses its antler-like nose to help it pick up and hold onto objects as it charges.
