In ancient times, a huge long drought struck the desert, causing many oases in the desert to dry up completely. Due to this long drought, Varusaburosu's ancestor moved to harsher volcanic regions and evolved to fit with this harsh environment. The reason why Varusaburosu's species stayed in the Volcano, and didn't go back to the Desert, is because of a particular Cactus found only in the Volcano, that now is this species' favorite.
