Voljang is an Origin Species of Rajang, first introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier G10.1.
Physiology[]
Voljang bears resemblance to Rajang but with a rough black and grey hide instead of a coat of black fur. Its horns are pointed upward with a more pronounced segmentation. It also possesses pupiless yellow eyes, larger nostrils, and a tail that resembles more of Lolo and Ray Gougarf's more than Rajang's.
Abilities[]
Like Rajang, Voljang is incredibly strong and agile. However it is capacle of breathing fire rather than electricity. Its flint-like build allows it to drag parts of itself along the ground, setting itself alight to add an extra hot punch to its attacks. When enraged (in addition to a few extra attacks), many of its attacks have fiery effects, such as its punches having a small AOE blast radius to each swing, its tail swipes and spins leaving patches of flames on the ground which disappear in a few seconds, and creating lines of flames by slamming its fists.
Behavior[]
Voljang is an incredibly aggressive beast, attacking anything that enters its line of sight.
Habitat[]
As one can guess from its appearance, Voljang is primarily sighted in volcanic regions but can also be found in places such as the Fortress Ruins.
