Each weapon type originates from a different place in the world of Monster Hunter. Some appear in places you wouldn't expect, while others show up in different timelines throughout the history of the world.
Hunting Horn[]
The Hunting Horn was originally used for special festivals in ancient times. With the help of a special mechanism, found within the Hunting Horn, ancient people were able to play strange songs using the weapon.
Switch Axe[]
The Switch Axe was first crafted within the eastern part of the world.
Switch Axe F[]
Though the Switch Axe came from the east, it is said that Mezeporta's Switch Axe F is based on an older model of the weapon, which came from the Ancient Civilization.
Tonfa[]
The Tonfa were originally created in Mezeporta, but aren't really wide spread in the Monster Hunter world. This is due to the weapon having many technical problems and being quite difficult to repair.
