A Giaorugu that has become larger and more dangerous. The blue, yellow-tipped dorsal plates have developed into a unique shape, no longer similar to those of stegosaurs. On its head, the center horn has grown a lot longer while the rest of its horns have grown slightly longer. The center of its head is covered with white frost, and its tusks are now slightly longer, just like the horns. Lastly, instead of a blade-like tail, Zenith Giaorugu’s tail has heavily developed over the years into an anchor-like shape.
When taken enough damage in combat, the dorsal plates will glow red and become encrusted in ice.
Zenith Giaorugu keeps the ability to cartwheel its body forward, as well as shooting ice beams, putting its tail in the floor to encrust them with ice, and using short bursts of ice breath attacks. Once it slams its tail onto the ground, it can cause quakes that make nearby hunters lose their balance. It can also suck up all the cold air and release it onto the ground, creating a huge freezing gust that heavily damages hunters.
Similar to Glavenus, Zenith Giaorugu would stay in its current spot, hold its tail up in the air sideways, and then unleash tail spin attacks on hunters. It can also make a combo attack with the tail.
Moreover, its ice-based attacks can drain a hunter’s stamina dramatically, thanks to Extreme Iceblight. Once the stamina is all gone, the hunter will be frozen in place.
- Zenith Giaorugu's head crest and one of its fangs can be broken, while the chest, hind legs and tail can all be wounded.
- Wounding the tail will cause Zenith Giaorugu to flinch after some tail attacks.
- Zenith Giaorugu's special body part is its tail, which takes the shape of a giant anchor.
