- Order: Saurischia
- Suborder: Wyvern Feet
- Infraorder: Strange Wyvern
- Superfamily: Rare White Wyvern
- Family: Khezu
Khezu are primarily cave-dwelling predators that ambush their prey from the darkness. However the wyverns will venture out of cave systems to search for prey. If their chosen victims are small, Khezu will overpower and swallow them whole; but if their prey is larger, the wyverns will utilize their electrical abilities and paralyze them. While they have powerful electric attacks to defend themselves, Khezu can be attacked by other large predators such as Tigrex, Kushala Daora, Abiorugu, Rajang, Teostra, Tetsucabra, Zamtrios and Nerscylla. Each of said creatures can do serious harm to Khezu due to the blind wyverns being unarmored; and that if they avoid being detected, can unleash brutal ambush assaults.
Zenith Khezu have many of the same adaptions as Khezu, however, there is a few differences between them. Due to an increase in electrical power, Zenith Khezu's head has changed greatly through mutation. The amount of electricity that Zenith Khezu can produce is beyond any normal Khezu. Two strikes from this Khezu's electricity can cause a heart attack instantly. It also can produce powerful "waves" of electricity that can touch a cave's ceiling, literally. Due to a stronger electrical discharge, its hide now sparkles like a pearl and protects it from its own discharges. On Zenith Khezu's hide is tiny hairs growing all over its body. These hairs allow it to sense the vibrations of prey throughout its entire body. Under its skin is an insulting film. This material seems perfect for handling different types of electricity, such as Zenith Khezu's own lightning. Interestingly, Zenith Khezu's is blue in color with a decent smell. This Khezu's stomach has never been looked at by researchers due to it being disgusting! Even for a normal stomach, Zenith Khezu's stomach is pretty big and full.
Zenith Khezu are very dangerous monsters that are known to eat hunters. When given a chance, Zenith Khezu are known to swallow hunters whole, while they are still alive. For this reason, the Hunter's Guild only send a select few hunters to hunt one down.
